Quarantine Update

Dear Saturday Morning 'Toonsters,

While I would say I'm sorry we're postponing our last two screenings, I am glad that SIFF and the SMC team are on the side of health officials and local government in proceeding with lockdown tactics to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Don't worry, folks! (At least, not about this film series.) We'll be back and kicking once things start returning to normalcy and the SIFF Cinema Uptown theater opens back up, whenever that may be. We will reschedule screenings for our last two sweet Season 5 picks, Pom Poko and Tales of the Night, as well as add at least three more films for your viewing pleasure. We'll pick up right where we left off after White Snake in January, exploring fairy tales and folklore from across cultures and how they are translated to the screen. Make sure to check out our last post, which contains some discussion questions you can think about in preparation for the next two films in the series!
